Wow! I have really neglected the blog world! I am going to try to get back into it.
We've had a wonderful summer and hate to see it end. This summer has been so fun with my three little ones. We love to go swimming, play in the sprinkler, and just stay home. It has been exciting having Brett around this summer and his latest accomplishment is crawling. Now he is into everything, but he keeps us on our toes.
Kevin took off some time this summer to work on building our new house. He, my dad, and his dad are doing a FANTASTIC job! It is coming a long great and we can't wait for it to be finished.
Kevin and I went to Boston and Cape Cod to celebrate our 10 year Anniversary together. I can't believe it's been that long. I am so blessed to be married to him.
After we got back from Boston we took the kids to Galveston. We went to the beach, ate at the Rainforest Cafe, and went to Moody Gardens to the Aquarium. The kids did not want to leave. :)
Anyway, we are all getting ready to get back in the swing of school. In the words of Cole, "I'm ready to go back for a little bit; but then I want to stay home again." My sentiments exactly.

Snow
Crazy enough we have had snow in Texas with unbelievably cold temperatures! I'm talking about wind chills below zero! Last week we missed four days of school and we are out again one day this week because of snow and ice. It has been nice being home and getting a little break from the hustle and bustle of life.
Cole and Landrey are getting a little too used to this though. Cole loves to stay in his pj's all day. Landrey loves playing in the toy room and Brett has enjoyed having his mommy, brother and sister around.
Here are a few pictures from our snow days. Unfortunately, it was too cold for Brett and so I don't have any pictures of him. I'll post an update on him soon!

It's a Boy!!!

Welcome Brett Ryan Hebbe! We had another boy added to our family on October 28th. We are so excited he is here. He is such a good baby and his big brother and sister just love him to pieces. We are so thankful he is healthy and happy.
AND, judging by the picture...he just might be a Longhorn! His Aunt Kristan caught this picture of him just in the nick of time. :)

School
Well, I know I am behind...as usual...but here is a picture from Cole's first day of Kindergarten. He is having a blast and is such a big boy. He says his favorite parts of the day are recess, lunch, PE and music. I always ask him to tell me one thing about his day that he liked and one part that he didn't like. The part that he likes is usually something about recess. I find this so hilarious.
If you know Cole at all, you know he is a night owl and has a hard time getting up in the mornings (he takes after his daddy). It has been quite an adjustment to an earlier bedtime, but it is getting better. Mornings are always hard, but he seems fine once we get there. (I don't know what I'll do when we have to get three ready. I'll have to get up SOO EARLY!)
I am so happy that he likes it and he is doing so well. Let's hope it continues.
Landrey...well she is happy to be back at school and playing with all her friends, especially Presley. We are still on the potty-train wagon. Hopefully she'll catch on soon.
Only 9 weeks or less until Little Hebbe #3 arrives. We can't wait!!!

4th of July
For the fourth, we went to Pflugerville. We had a great time seeing everyone. Landrey had a particularly good time visiting "Annabelle", one of the cows, and riding the Gator. Both Cole and Landrey loved the fireworks; it was our first year (in five years)that we did not watch them from inside the truck. :)
I got a few pictures, but realized I did not get that many of Cole. He wanted to spend most of his time indoors. He said it was too hot. I agree.

Pre-K Graduation
Last week Cole graduated from Pre-school. We can't believe how fast he is growing up. He is so excited about kindergarten, and he is READY. It was so sweet watching him go up and get his "diploma". It reminded me that it won't be long before he is graduating high school.
Also, Cole has started playing baseball and LOVES it. Isn't he cute?

Snow Day
Today we woke up to find school cancelled and snow falling heavily! It was a nice surprise! We had a wonderful day and ended up getting about six inches of snow, quite a bit for Texas.

Cole's Birthday
Okay...so I know it has been a couple of weeks, but better late than never... :)
On Jan. 23rd our little boy turned five! FIVE!! Can you believe it? I actually got a little teary-eyed about this birthday. He is growing up so fast! It just blows my mind that in Aug. he will start kindergarten. My baby is no longer a "baby". He will enter the world of having to go to school/work everyday. Kinda sad, but a bittersweet as well. We are just so blessed to have him in our life. He is such an out-going, happy, pleasant-to-be around little boy who melts my heart in everyway. Happy Birthday Cole and here's to many more...
We had his birthday at Jump Extreme, again, this year. He loves batman, and really wanted a batman theme party. Thanks to Grammy's super talent, we had a beautiful batman cake.

Birthday Month
January is birthday month around here. We just celebrated Landrey's second birthday on Jan. 6th. Cole's birthday is Jan. 23rd and my birthday is Jan. 30th! Wow!
We had so much fun celebrating our baby girl's second birthday. She has grown up so much in a year! She enjoyed her Minnie Mouse cake (thanks Grammy) and opening all her presents. We just had a small party on her birthday. It was nice that our family could make it.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was so much fun. We have so much to be thankful for and we count our blessings everyday. Thank you God!
My parents and Kevin's parents came to our house this year on Thanksgiving. It was such a nice treat having everyone together and Cole and Landrey loved it! Thanks for comming Grammy, Granddaddy, Grandmother and Grandpa.
Here are a few pictures!

Pumpkin Patch
Last week we went to the pumpkin patch! There is just something invigorating about going to the pumkin patch; I love it! We went with my friend Nikki and her little boy. We all had a fun time, but it was extremely muddy. And, as luck would have it, Landrey fell in the mud within five minutes of us being there. But, I still got some really cute pictures and a perfect pumpkin.

It's soccer season again!
Cole had his first soccer game this weekend. He did great! It is amazing to me how much he has improved since last fall. We have moved from, "Look Coach an airplane!" (during the game I might add) to "Go team!" I am so proud of him. Even his coach said, "Wow! Cole has a really strong kick!" Go Jaguars!

Anniversary
Thursday, July 16, 2009
We just got back from Virginia. What a great trip, and we really enjoyed getting to see you Aunt Jenn. We miss you already. Our fun events included picking blackberries at the Berry Farm, going to Lurray Caverns, riding the rides at King's Dominion (Cole's first rollercoasters), fishing and swimming in the Potomac River, and, of course, hanging out at Aunt Jenn's house. We can't wait to go back and visit. Check out our Smilebox to see our fun pictures! Sorry some of the pictures are blurry...camera difficulties.

First Week of Summer
Our first week of summer was a blast. We went to the zoo, had a playdate, stayed up late every night, and went to our new lot to cook hot dogs and have a campfire. It is so nice to be free of a set schedule. Cole wakes up every morning and says, "Is there school today?" I keep telling him it is summer, but he doesn't quite get it.

Our new pet
Over the weekend Cole got a hermit crab. He is doing such a great job taking care of it. The lady at the store asked him what he was going to name it. He did not hesitate one second, "Sam," he replied. Okay. Sam it is. I have no idea where he got that name, but it did make me laugh. He wants to feed it constantly, play with it nonstop, and today when it was raining...he wanted to rush home to check to make sure Sam was not scared. I think it is good that he have something to take care of; and to leave you with another quote from Cole: "Hermit crabs don't die, right?" Let's hope not. :)
